Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Doge Soft (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use dogesoft.io and related Doge Soft websites, apps, documentation, APIs, and products (the “Services”). Please read it together with our Terms of Service.
1. Quick summary
- We design self-custody experiences so private keys and seed phrases stay on your device whenever possible.
- Public blockchain data (addresses, transactions, balances) is inherently public.
- Our websites may collect limited technical and usage data needed to operate, secure, and improve the Services.
- We do not sell your personal information.
2. Scope
This Policy covers information processed in connection with Doge Soft-operated Services. It does not cover third-party websites, wallets, protocols, app stores, or services we link to or integrate with—those have their own privacy practices.
3. Information we may collect
3.1 Information you provide
Depending on the feature, you may provide:
- contact details (for example, if you email us);
- profile or persona details you choose to publish (such as a handle, tagline, or social links);
- support requests, feedback, or other communications; and
- optional referral or invite information you choose to share.
3.2 Information collected automatically
When you visit our websites or use certain online Services, we may automatically collect:
- device and browser type, operating system, language, and approximate region derived from IP address;
- pages viewed, referring/exit pages, timestamps, and basic interaction events;
- diagnostic logs and error reports needed to keep services reliable; and
- security signals used to detect abuse, bots, or attacks.
3.3 Blockchain and on-chain information
Blockchain networks are public. Wallet addresses, transaction hashes, token balances, inscriptions, and related on-chain activity are visible to anyone and may be indexed by Doge Soft explorers, APIs, or third-party indexers. We may process this public data to provide product features (for example, balance views, explorers, or market screens).
3.4 Information from third parties
We may receive limited information from infrastructure providers (hosting, CDN, DNS, analytics if enabled, app stores, or payment/download partners) as needed to operate the Services.
4. Wallet software, Keys, and local data
Doge Soft wallet experiences are designed around self-custody. We do not want—and typically cannot access—your private keys, seed phrases, or device-local signing material (“Keys”).
- Keys are generated and stored on your device (or in platform secure storage) under your control.
- We do not use the Services to request your seed phrase. Anyone who asks for it is likely attempting theft.
- App preferences, caches, and local databases may remain on your device. Uninstalling or clearing data may delete local information; back up your Keys before you do.
If you connect a wallet to a third-party website or dApp (including via a browser provider), that third party may receive the address you approve and any information you authorize. Review each request carefully.
5. How we use information
We use information to:
- provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services;
- secure the Services, prevent fraud and abuse, and troubleshoot issues;
- communicate with you about updates, security notices, or support (when you contact us);
- analyze aggregated usage to understand product performance;
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms; and
- protect the rights, safety, and property of users and the public.
Where required by law, we rely on appropriate bases for processing, such as performance of a contract, legitimate interests (for example, securing services), consent (where we ask for it), or legal obligation.
8. Retention
We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy, including security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, and legitimate business needs. Retention periods vary by data type. Public blockchain data remains public indefinitely by design of the underlying networks.
9. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for securing your devices, Keys, and accounts.
10. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:
- access, correct, or delete certain personal information;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and
- lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
To exercise privacy requests, contact privacy@dogesoft.io. We may need to verify your request. Some information cannot be deleted (for example, public chain data or records we must keep for legal reasons).
11. Children
The Services are not directed to children under 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
12. International transfers
We may process and store information in countries other than where you live. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Material changes may be highlighted on the Services. Continued use after an update means you acknowledge the revised Policy.
